Z'IVO Wines 2006 Quartet

Complex citrus flavors with a long finish

Winemaker's Notes

Made from Pinot Blanc and Melon de Bourgogne from the Dundee Hills of Oregon and Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from the Columbia Valley in Washington.

The long beautiful summer resulted in slow ripening for superb flavor development. All the separate wines were fermented in neutral wood and all but the Sauvignon Blanc was allowed to go through malolactic fermentation. The wines were stirred on the lees for 10 months.

Alcohol 14%

August 2009: Complex citrus and herbal flavors with a hint of smokiness in the mid-palate. An unusually long finish accented with a touch of lemon butter.
